A scenic trek to the base of Annapurna I, passing through rhododendron forests, Gurung villages, and natural hot springs.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our Adventure Pathway representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you will receive a detailed trek briefing regarding the journey, trekking gear, weather conditions, and final preparations. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today you travel to Pokhara, Nepal’s beautiful lake city and gateway to the Annapurna region. Enjoy scenic countryside views of rivers, hills, villages, and terraced landscapes during the drive, or choose a short flight with Himalayan views. Evening free to relax beside Phewa Lake. Overnight in Pokhara.

After breakfast, drive to Nayapul and begin your trek through farmland, riverside paths, and traditional villages. Gradually ascend to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk, famous for its stone houses, local culture, and spectacular views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. Overnight at the lodge.

Today’s trail descends through forests and streams before climbing steadily to Chhomrong, one of the largest villages on the route. The village sits on a hillside with dramatic mountain backdrops and offers excellent views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South. Overnight at the lodge.

The trail descends stone staircases to the Chhomrong Khola, then climbs through dense bamboo and rhododendron forest. The route becomes quieter and more peaceful as you move deeper into the sanctuary region. Overnight in Bamboo.

Continue trekking through lush forested trails, passing Dovan and Himalaya. As altitude increases, vegetation becomes thinner, and the valley narrows dramatically. Arrive at Deurali surrounded by cliffs and alpine scenery, and overnight at the lodge.

A truly memorable highlight of the journey. Hike through glacial terrain to Machhapuchhre Base Camp, where incredible mountain panoramas begin to open. Continue onward to Annapurna Base Camp, located in the center of the magnificent Himalayan sanctuary. Surrounded by towering peaks in every direction, this is a truly unforgettable destination. Overnight at the lodge.

Wake early for a breathtaking sunrise over Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. After breakfast, retrace your steps downhill through MBC, Deurali, and Himalayan landscapes before reaching Bamboo. Overnight at the lodge.

Descend through Chhomrong and continue to Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs located beside the river. Enjoy a relaxing soak after days of trekking while surrounded by nature. Overnight at the lodge.

Complete the final section of the trail through villages and farmland before reaching Nayapul. Drive back to Pokhara and enjoy a comfortable evening with time to celebrate your trekking achievement.

Travel back to Kathmandu by road or air. Free time for shopping, sightseeing, or relaxing. Evening farewell hosted by Adventure Pathway.
