About Mardi Himal Trek
The Mardi Himal Trek is one of the most beautiful off-the-beaten-path trekking routes in the Annapurna Region, offering a peaceful and less crowded alternative to popular Himalayan trails. This trek is famous for its dramatic ridge walks, close-up mountain views, and untouched natural beauty.
Starting from the scenic city of Pokhara, the trail gradually ascends through lush rhododendron forests, oak woods, and traditional Gurung settlements. As trekkers climb higher, the landscape transforms into alpine terrain with breathtaking views of Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Mardi Himal itself.
One of the main highlights is the ridge walk from High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp, where trekkers are rewarded with panoramic sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayan giants. Unlike crowded trekking routes, Mardi Himal offers a quiet and immersive experience in nature.
This trek is ideal for beginners with good fitness as well as intermediate trekkers looking for a short yet rewarding Himalayan adventure filled with scenery, culture, and tranquility.
